Skateboard Competition

 

Jam session format with no more than three (3) to five (5) participants at one time.

Individual routines
The groups are:
   Beginner
   Intermediate

The top three athletes in each category will receive an award.

Best Trick Skateboard(Jam format)

The groups are
    Beginner
    Intermediate
    Advanced

One award for the best overall trick in both Beginner and Intermediate groups.
Cash prizes for top three places in Advanced group.

Judging

All events will be scored by a panel of judges. Judges will be provided by local skate shops and industry related representatives. Individual competition will be judged based on;

-Skill - degree of difficulty and creativity of tricks
-Consistency- number of tricks
-Style/originality
-Use of course

Music

The event will have a sound system with DJ to play music throughout the day.

Competition Rules

Helmets are mandatory and all other safety equipment is strongly recommended.

Registration forms for athletes under the age of 18 require a parent or legal guardian signature.

All participants and persons going into the competition area are required to sign a waiver of participant liability and declaration of fitness.

We reserve the right to change format as needed to provide the safest and most organized competition.

No spectators are allowed on the skate area (competition area) at any time for any reason.

Participants must be at least eight (8) years of age.

Any participant that repeatedly ignores rules, warnings or instructions from event staff will be removed from the competition. Profanity or unsportsman like conduct  will not be tolerated.

No throwing or tossing of any objects into crowds. All objects must be handed out.
